Beauty Writer
Job DescriptionCan you write killer copy, create powerful headlines and craft messages that sell?

Paula’s Choice is looking for someone who has experience writing for fashion magazines or online beauty or cosmetic sites.
As a Beauty Writer you will work closely with our Director of Marketing to write advertising copy for both online and print projects in a B2C environment. You must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to juggle several kinds of marketing projects at the same time. You must also be a good, quick editor.
You will also need to be able to see the big picture yet willing to roll up your sleeves, work hard and get results.
Specific duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Write online and email-based advertising copy on behalf of the beauty industry
- Write and edit internal marketing projects including media kits and trade show materials
- Write and edit press releases
- Write and manage email marketing campaigns (build, design, create content and publish multiple campaigns a month
- Edit online and printed marketing materials
- Write marketing copy in conjunction with the Marketing Director
Requirements:
- BA in English, marketing or related field
- 5+ years experience copywriting and /or editing within a creative team preferably with an emphasis on e-commerce
- 3+ years experience copywriting in the beauty industry or related field
- Marketing background preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and handle pressure while multi-tasking and adhering to quality and deadlines
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized, flexible and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer
- Experience with SEO and HTML a definite plus

Customer Service/Sales Consultant; Level III
Job DescriptionPaula’s Choice is looking for an experienced and dedicated Customer Service/Sales Consultant to join our team. As a high level member of our service team, you will be acting as a brand ambassador by cultivating our brand awareness to our domestic, international consumers both wholesale and retail.
As a Level III Customer Service/Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be cultivating, promoting and driving our wholesale partner program to the next level. Ultimately, you will become the driving force behind our reseller model called Paula’s Choice Partner Program. This will include conducting sales calls by using a house list our clients working to increase sales, ensure client satisfaction and promote product sell through. Additionally, you will need to identify new sales targets to increase this area of our business, assist marketing department in the planning and execution of promotions related to our reseller program and provide customer support ensuring clients receive needed ongoing training, sales support and new product samples/materials.
Along with all of our Customer Service Consultants you will also be responsible for answering, researching and resolving customer questions, inquires and concerns in an accurate, efficient and timely manner which you must be able to communicate effectively through various forms of mediums such as live chat, e-mail and telephone.
You will need strong account management experience combined with a track record of success in selling products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and sell the Paula’s Choice brand and philosophy
- Implementing marketing strategies - working with marketing, sales, and our admin team you will implement strategies to increase sales and raise brand awareness related to our PC Partner program
- To develop and implement a promotions and communications plan that will build relationships with our PC Partner clients and ultimately increase sales. To include PR, advertising, direct mail, web marketing and other innovative communications methods
- Creating new ideas and development of support materials for the PC Program
- Manage wholesale partner program accounts and records
- Coach PC Partners in the best practices of Paula’s Choice merchandise strategies, standards, and presentation
- Work with service and marketing teams to ensure they execute our deliverables
- Trouble shoot all customer issues
- Make product suggestions and answer customer’s questions
- Process orders returns and exchanges (retail & wholesale)
- Handle business correspondence as needed
- Communicate effectively via telephone and Live Chat
- Process orders correctly and efficiently
Skill requirements:
- 2-5 years experience as a Customer Service/Sales Consultant, Lead or Wholesale Business Representative preferably with a retail sales background
- Proven high level leadership experience
- Professional sales experience
- Strong independent work ethic, business acumen and desire to build a wholesale partner program from the ground up
- Understanding of merchandising
- Strong drive, energy and initiative

International Cosmetic Sales and Training Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced International Cosmetic Sales and Training Specialist for our Internet based cosmetics company, PaulasChoice.com. If you are a dynamic person with makeup artistry skills, a comprehensive knowledge of the cosmetics industry, with an understanding of skin care and skin care products, you would be a welcome part of our team. Your current and prior experience should include cosmetic product training expertise, ability to handle media appearances and interviews, talent for doing presentations to groups of women and comfortable with international travel. In addition, you will need to have the ability to reinforce marketing strategies, oversee training content, and effectively communicate product information and formulations.
Skill requirements:
- Expertise at interacting and leading customer service personnel
- Prior retail experience
- Prior public relations experience a plus
- Experience in teaching product training classes
- Experience organizing product training events, meetings, or conferences
- Knowledge in developing and enhancing training manuals
- Ease and facility for educating women about skin care and makeup
- Talent for introducing new products and making them exciting
- Strong interpersonal skills are required as well as an aptitude for developing international relationships.
- Ability to analyze competing products and then recommending marketing/product strategies.
Capacity Requirements:
- International travel may be required.
- Reports directly to the CEO and Senior Director of Marketing.
- Flexible work hours that allow for scheduling International phone calls.
- Knowledge of Internet marketing
- This job requires living in the Seattle area (relocating allowance will be provided for the right candidate).
