About the position

About the position
Paula's Choice, Inc. is looking for an experienced Software Developer in Test proficient in writing test plans, test strategies, execution of test cases, and overall software quality enforcement.
Your responsibilities
In the near term you will be working to help ensure the quality of our soon to be released e-commerce, WMS, and ERP systems. You will also help with setting up best practices and defining processes that will make our team run like a well-oiled machine.
Longer term you will help implement those best practices and processes, as well as work closely with the team to identify, track, and help resolve issues in all phases of product development. We will look for you to own the quality of all products we ship and help grow the team as we grow. Additionally, you will serve as a resource to other black box testers on the team, research the feasibility of continuous delivery, and contribute creative and innovative ideas to the business.
Requirements
- 3+ years black box and white box experience testing scalable data driven web applications
- 2+ years of experience with test automation tools (nunit, xunit, etc.)

About the position
Paula's Choice, Inc. is looking for an experienced front end developer proficient in XHTML, AJAX, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript. You’ll be taking PSD’s and converting them to functional pages that are pixel perfect across many browsers/platforms. You will work with development to help define any api’s necessary to expose any data/functionality required to make your creations work flawlessly. Finally we value your feedback on interface and graphic design so that our sites will be usable for our customers.
Your responsibilities
We will look for you to:
- Help implement front end coding standards
- Take PSD’s and turn them into pixel perfect web pages
- Be a CSS/XHTML ninja (You understand that the C in CSS stands for cascading)
- Keep an eye out for usability issues our users may encounter
- Implement client side features (AJAX) on our site, facebook applications, and mobile site.
- Work with the development team to define API’s needed to expose front end functionality
- Understand the impact that your code has on our sites SEO
Experience with version control (mercurial) and asp.net is an added bonus.

This intern position will collaborate with the Art Director, Creative Director, Email Marketing group and other team members ensuring timely delivery of materials. Duties will include design and production of emails and web graphics, photo retouching and layout and production of print projects.
Skill Requirements:
- Photoshop.
